Sign in with Google
You can log in or create your account with your Google account instead of a password, on the website and in the Android app (version 1.8.0 and later).
- Step 1: On the Log in or Sign up page, select Sign in with Google (or Sign up with Google).
- Step 2: Choose your Google account.
- Step 3: If you already have a myedubuddy account with the same email, you are logged in. If you are new, a short form asks for your mobile number and the tick for the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy: select Create account.
A new account made with Google waits for verification like any other (see Create an account (students)). An existing account can then use either way, Google or its password. If your account had a temporary password from your coaching class or from myedubuddy, logging in with Google switches it off: you are not asked to change it, and nobody else can use it.
myedubuddy receives only your name, your email address and Google's ID for your account; never your Google password. An account made with Google has no password you know. To have one as well, use Forgot password? (see Forgot your password). Administrators log in on the admin portal with their password and authenticator app, not with Google.
