Fingerprint lock (Android app, version 1.7.0 and later)
The app keeps you logged in, so anyone holding your phone could open it. To stop that, turn on the fingerprint lock: the app then asks for your fingerprint, your face or your phone's screen lock (PIN or pattern) when it opens, and when you come back after 5 minutes or more away.
- After you log in, the app offers it once. Select Turn on and touch the fingerprint sensor, or Not now.
- To turn it on or off later, open Profile and use the Unlock with fingerprint switch.
- Can't unlock? Select Log in with password instead and log in again.
- Logging out turns the lock off, so the next person who logs in on the phone isn't locked out.
Your fingerprint never leaves your phone: Android checks it and only tells the app whether it matched. The switch appears only on phones with a fingerprint or face set up.
